September – Avert delivered the first Chrysalis programme in Derry.

‘Fast Forward Business Start Up Awards 2011’

October – Avert entered the Derry City Council’s ‘Fast Forward Business Start Up Awards 2011’, under the heading ‘Social Economy Business’, they won ‘Best Social Enterprise’ and received a grant on £3000 which was used to update IT equipment.
